Infant Massage WINC, World Institute for Nurturing Communication is the "doing business as" for our grassroots organization, International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM®), originally established in the 1970's in the United States and incorporated in 1986 as a 501c3, non-profit corporation. WINC holds that status today.
Andrea Kelly, Infant Massage WINC Master Trainer, and author of the TRIAD Family Model™ & CIMI Level 2 Class.
Andrea was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Before being recruited to Infant Massage WINC, Andrea was regional sales director and leading sales producer for two major health and life insurance companies. In 1986, while raising two children as a single mom, Andrea opened her own insurance agency, ProVantage Insurance Services, and was featured in the industry’s “Top Producer” broker magazine within the first year, and continued to have an exemplary career for the next 16 years as a leader in her industry.
In 2002, the Board of Directors recruited Andrea Kelly to sharpen its professional edge as a world-class leader in the national and international, healthy and at-risk arenas of infant and child nurturing touch and communication, evidenced-based research and science (EBS). An expert at keeping current with and foreseeing market trends, she initiated and propelled new marketing materials to assist Certified Infant Massage Instructors (CIMI®s) and Certified International Instructor Trainers (CIMI®s)to establish themselves within their local and global communities.
Andrea teaches, writes and travels, constantly searching out new ways to present Infant Massage WINC to the world community. Her teaching manuals and PowerPoints blend WINC's signature grassroots, hands-on routines with the latest in touch research, giving instructors elegant and effective presentations to share with their parents and professional community. She has written two cover articles for Massage Magazine: “The Artful Joy of Infant Massage” (2008) and “Touch the Future” (2011), and continues to explore and expand WINC's global marketing for future generations of instructors and trainers.
Along with Dr. Tiffany Field, the ground-breaking Touch Research Institute founder, WINC's transformative message is endorsed by the renowned research scientist Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of “The Biology of Belief” and founder of “epigenetics,” which proves that our DNA is not set at birth, but is greatly increased and enriched by Conscious Parenting. In 2012, Andrea was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame for introducing the science of touch in her TRIAD Family Model™ which embraces epigenetics. WINC's mission now includes the equation of total family health, where parents and siblings play major roles to encourage and strengthen family bonding to endure a lifetime. In 2013, she was invited and inducted into the Who's Who of American Women for her accomplishments at WINC.
Andrea has brought the multi-components of family bonding which are the environment, safe/positive/creative, coupled with nurturing touch and compassionate communication to the forefront of knowledge about helping our children to maximize their potential. The children are our greatest treasure and resource – we want them to thrive and not just survive. Her award-winning TRIAD Family Model gives recognition that “Nature Needs Nurturance,” has enabled Infant Massage WINC to become a major contributor to the health and happiness of children and their families throughout the world community.
Andrea's life motto: “Good...better...best – never let it rest until the good is better, and the better best!”
